Little Moon I
Little Moon Risograph Print
“The April full moon is also called the pink moon because of the pink flower bloom in the Northern Americas. And I think of the Nick Drake song Pink Moon and how he sings that a pink moon is coming for us all. How actions have consequences. Change is inevitable. I let my foot turn into the strangest directions, my hips shaking, a leap, another leap, a twist and a twirl. I’m turning turning turning, moving in union, moving in my own pace: dancing questionably. I look up at the moon.
Things are different now. “
The print is part of the visual world of my book, Things That Are Different Now created as an extension of the book’s themes of transformation and change.
